It was built in 1939 in Art Deco style and is an A listed building. From the outside it has all the original features and inside the ballroom boasts the only violin shaped hall and one of the largest dance floors in Aberdeen. The Northern Hotel is a good quality 3* hotel, with a Scottish Tourist Board 3* grading.
